During a stopover in Manila to see friends and family before heading to Siargao Island, I met up with my good friend and travel writer Nyx Martinez, who now writes for Mabuhay Magazine, Philippines Airlines inflight magazine. Over chilled red wine (yes folks, it’s so hot in the Philippines that a glass of cool red wine is indeed acceptable), here is the fruit of our labors and kuwentohan.
